Homosexuality and Methodism

The first time the Methodist Church in Britain looks at the issue of homosexuality is in 1954.  The Department of Christian Citizenship, in that year’s Conference agenda [1], recommends for study the Church of England report, ‘The Problem of Homosexuality’.  The reference is small and interestingly appears in the context of sexual vices.
