In 1993 the Methodist Church called for a 'Pilgrimage of Faith' concerning the subject of sexuality. Have you heard about the 'Pilgrimage of Faith'?A significant majority answered
yes to this question,
24 (89%) people said yes, whilst only 3 (11%) said no.
Of
the yes answers many had made continual responses
to the reports made. Many
understood it
as highlighting sexuality issues, and that it shouldn’t be a
big issue. Some
understood it as though it was saying
we’re not prepared to embrace you but will study sexuality,
and others felt
there was reluctance to study it, with poor attendance at meetings and
little
pilgrimage happening. One
understood it
as about practising sexual beings.
There was one who felt it was a lifeline to them, and some
who expressed
it was about listening.
